One of our biggest and recent adventures took place in Japan. With dreams of sharing our beloved products with beauty enthusiasts in the Land of the Rising Sun, we embarked on a mission to expand our horizons while staying true to our roots as a USA-based brand.

But, as life often teaches us, the path to success is rarely a straight line. Along the way, we encountered unexpected obstacles that tested our resolve. Navigating the complexities of operating in a foreign market proved to be no easy feat. From language barriers to unfamiliar regulations, we faced challenges that seemed impossible at times.

Yet, through it all, we remained steadfast in our commitment to bringing the best of Sanbe Beauty to our customers, no matter the hurdles. Our founder and CEO, Betty, faced tough decisions that required her to dig deep and summon the strength to keep going.

One such decision was the possibility of giving up her SOFA status to establish a Japanese branch for Sanbe Beauty. This would mean she would also require a business visa to remain on the island she has called home for over 12 years. But in the face of adversity, Betty stood firm in her beliefs to stay true to Sanbe Beauty's roots while embracing other opportunities for growth.
